This account establishes your membership with the credit union.

Access your shares on the go! Opt into our MasterMoney Debit Card or ATM Card.
Call 1-800-992-3808 to activate your card, change your PIN, or report a lost/stolen card.
Minimum amount required to open a Christmas Club Account is $1.00.
CNEFCU club accounts are continuous, meaning that you use the same passbook each year to avoid opening a new account each year.
The balance is transferred automatically to your Main Share Account during the first week in October each year.
Share Draft Checking
No minimum amount required to open a Share Draft Checking Account or service charge.

Certificate of Deposit
Minimum balance of $1,000.00 required to open a CD Account.

Minimum of $2,500.00 required to open a Money Market Deposit Accounts.
Money Market Deposit Accounts have a variable rate.
If the balance drops below $2,500.00, the interest rate drops to our NOW Account rate.

Minimum balance of $500.00 required to open an IRA account.

Teen Checking Account
What is a Teen Checking Account?
Teen checking accounts are only available to individuals under the age of 18 with a parent or legal guardian as a joint owner. That means you and your teen will be able to open an account, transfer money, talk about spending, and practice their budgeting skills.
What are the age requirements?
While this checking account is designed for teens, any child age 14+ can be a joint account holder with their parent or legal guardian. Once they turn 18, your teen can choose to open a regular checking account and transfer their balance from their Teen account.
What are the account features?
Show your teen how far their dollar can go with a free checking account with no balance requirements. The account will have a free MasterCard® Debit Card in your teen’s name which gives them the power to decide when to buy and when to save. Get them thing about saving with a 0.25% APY* on cash they already have in the bank.

How do teen debit cards and checks work?
Mobile features are only available through the Coastal New England FCU Mobile App, but you can manage and see transactions with online banking. Once you’ve downloaded and signed into the app, select your Teen account. Most of the features should be available through the home screen of your account.
How do I know what my teen is doing with their account?
As a joint account holder, you’ll be able to access your teen’s checking account anytime with your own username and password. Set up text alerts and email notifications for card transactions and account activity.
What access do parents/legal guardians have?
Parents or legal guardians can send both automatic allowance and one-time transfers, reward their teen’s goals, remove money, and view transactions. Parents or legal guardians don’t receive a debit card.
How does mobile check deposit work?
You and your teen can deposit checks almost anywhere, anytime with mobile app. Just sign in, choose your Teen account, snap pics of your check and deposit.
Is there any Overdraft Protection or Courtesy Pay?
Your Teen account features an automatic overdraft protection plan whereby funds from applicable Share-Savings accounts will be transferred to your Teen account to cover any overdraft. There will be no courtesy pay on this account.
